Accident on Fordwich Road in Sturry causes delays along the A28 Mill Road

An accident causes long delays and blockages on a busy road.

Drivers have been warned entering Fordwich Road Tough and A28 Mill Road eastbound are affected.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved.

Several emergency services are on site and a helicopter has been spotted in the area.

KCC Highways posted a warning for motorists on X this evening.

It read: “Report from an RTC near the Fordwich Road junction. Please expect delays in the region. Be careful.”
