Sanborn, ND man dies in rollover accident

BARNES COUNTY, ND (Valley News Live) – A Sanborn, North Dakota man died after a rollover accident in Barnes County Tuesday morning.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says it happened just before 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, on Barnes County Road 22 near 102nd Avenue Southeast, about three miles west of Sanborn.

A man was driving west on County Road 22 when the SUV veered onto the north shoulder, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. He drove back onto the road, but drove into the south ditch where the SUV rolled.

The Highway Patrol says the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the SUV. A 30-year-old Sanborn man died from his injuries. His name will be released after the family is notified.
