Emmerdale legend impresses with new look as he announces big change | Soaps

Emmerdale star Nicola Wheeler showed off her new hairstyle as she warned fans about a new soap announcement.

The 50-year-old actress, best known for playing Nicola King in the soap, shared that viewers will be able to watch episodes of Emmerdale and Coronation Street at 7am on ITVX.

Nicola, who was promoting her latest film alongside Corrie star Elle Mulvaney (Amy Barlow), showed off her much shorter hair.

In the Dales, Nicola and her best friend Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy)) their friendship is about to be tested.

They’ve been there for each other through thick and thin, through heartbreak and bad decisions, and through everything else two best friends can endure.

But the thing that will destroy their friendship, the one thing that has delayed everything else while endearing Laurel to Nicola, may be Nicola’s ability to stick the paddle.

It’s been one drama after another for Laurel since Arthur (Alfie Clarke) arrived home from traveling, with her discovering that her teenage son has become quite promiscuous at his young age.

She sat down with him for an honest but cringe-worthy conversation about safe sex, but was horrified to learn that he had slept with John (Oliver Farnworth), a fully grown adult.

Laurel was horrified that this newcomer had taken advantage of her son and barged in to confront him in the Woolpack – for the whole pub to hear. Arthur was mortified.

But strangely enough, it was all a lie by Arthur to appear more mature than he really is to his best friend, April. The most damaging lie as John now faces an investigation.
