Woman fatally struck by vehicle in Clinton on Tuesday

Prince George’s County, MD – A tragic incident occurred Tuesday morning when a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in Clinton, as reported by the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD).

On Oct. 15, shortly after 6 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Piscataway Road and Surratts Village Drive for a pedestrian accident. When they arrived, they found the woman lying on the road.

Despite the efforts of emergency crews, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

PGPD confirmed that the driver remained at the scene after the accident and investigators are working to determine the circumstances that led to the collision. As of Tuesday morning, the woman’s identity had not been released.
