CA announce Ashes 2025-26 dates

The much-anticipated NRMA Insurance Men’s Ashes series 2025-26 will begin with the West Test at Perth Stadium from 21-25 November 2025.

Cricket Australia today announced the Ashes dates at an event in Scarborough Beach, Perth, with the support of the WA Government.

The NRMA Insurance West Test will be followed by the Brisbane Day Test at the Gabba (4-8 December) and the Christmas Test at Adelaide Oval (17-21 December), with the Melbourne Boxing Day Test (26-30 December ) and Sydney New Year’s Test (January 4-8) at their traditional times.

The NRMA Insurance Ashes 2025-26 dates are aligned with Australian Cricket’s seven-year programming plan announced earlier this year, which will create greater certainty around the games and help grow cricket-related games and events in partnership with governments and their events and tourism departments.

While the focus this summer will be on the five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy series, the Ashes dates have been released earlier than usual to allow those traveling from overseas or interstate to plan their itineraries.

There has already been huge interest from fans around the world wanting to see Australia and England engage in the next edition of the game’s oldest rivalry.
