He said: “This whole situation I don’t know what I can do… What do I do?

“I’m just as shocked as you are, with my hand on my heart, I’m just as shocked as you are.

“I found out about the same time as you guys, probably later.”

The pair have collaborated on projects for Footasylum, one of several major brands to have dropped Filly as a client since news of his arrest broke.

Best known for his FIFA gaming videos, Aarons added: “I’m just going to play FIFA, man, let’s chill.”

Filly, whose real name is Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was arrested in Melbourne on suspicion of raping a woman in his hotel.

He was performing at a nightclub before allegedly attacking the 20-year-old woman.

Filly, 29, was transferred to Perth after his arrest, where he now has to report to a police station daily after paying $100,000 AUD (£51,000) bail.

On Tuesday, he appeared on the WA station just 20 minutes before the mandatory deadline, The Western Australian reports.

The rapper faces four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault and one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck.

Police investigating him say they have an “extremely strong” case that includes CCTV footage of the social media star on the night of the alleged crimes.

Aarons is not the first former collaborators or friends of Filly to speak out about the ongoing investigation.

On Sunday, his longtime friend Chunkz, whose real name is Amin Mohamed, posted a clip on Instagram where he said: “Like everyone else, I heard reports coming from Australia.

“While I understand that many of you want my reaction on this, as this is an ongoing court case, I hope you understand that I cannot and will not comment on this publicly, so yes, I just came here to basically let you know know the reasons why I can’t love.

And fellow creator AngryGinge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, said: “I’m not going to pretend like nothing happened. I’m going to be open and honest as always. Where do you start?

“Four o’clock in the morning I’m lying in bed, I see what’s happening on Twitter. First of all, I’m exactly like you. I’m shocked. Um, yes. You know, mental. Mental.

“But now he’s obviously involved in lawsuits and I can’t comment on lawsuits. You know how it is. Crazy.”

And influencer LV General also broke his silence with the shocking news.

He wrote on Instagram: “Everyone please stop messaging me about what happened to Young Filly.

“He is a grown man and has to take responsibility for his own actions.

“I’ll be praying for the man because the Australian prison is no joke – naked snakes and spiders and shit.

“I just hope this doesn’t backfire on his family.”

Who is Yung Filly?

YUNG Filly’s rise to fame saw him start out as a social media star.

The influencer got his big break on YouTube before moving to mainstream TV.

Although he is Yung Filly, his real name is Andres Felipé Barrientos.

He was born on August 6, 1995, and moved from Colombia to the United Kingdom when he was two years old.

Filly then moved to South East London during his childhood.

When asked what it was like growing up in the capital, he told Indy100: “I come from rock bottom… and that’s why I’m so grateful for the position I’m in now.

“My mom definitely shaped me with the lessons she taught me.

“She’s a single mom with three kids, my dad was an idiot dad, so she just had to make it happen.

“She did a lot of cleaning work. My mum was working in Poundland at the time when I had some crazy BBC series… just getting my mum out of the position she was in was the biggest motivation.”

Filly is best known for being a member of the comedy group known as The Wall of Comedy.

He is affiliated with fellow YouTuber Chunkz and the duo has collaborated on many videos and tracks.

Over the years, Filly has also taken part in The Sidemen’s Charity Football Match, organized by members Josh Bradley, Simon Minter, Tobi Brown, KSI, Ethan Payne, Vikram Barn and Harry Lewis.
