Speeding driver is caught at 148 km/h in zone 60: police

Keep in mind that there is no freeway on Innisfil Beach Road (IBR).

In a social media post on October 15, South Simcoe police said a vehicle was stopped after it was caught traveling at 148 kilometers per hour in a 60 km/h zone on the IBR.

As a result, a 36-year-old Scarborough woman was charged with stunt driving and speeding.

She also received a 30-day license suspension and her vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
