Man sees mysterious lights hovering in Merseyside sky

Thomas Corway shared echoing images of what he believes to be a meteor and UFO

This is the moment a man captured mysterious lights shining in the sky above Merseyside. Thomas Corway, 45, from West Kirby, shared images with the ECHO capturing the strange events of last week.

Thomas was enjoying the view on his usual sunset walk with his partner on Friday, October 11, when he caught what he believes to be a meteor in the sky above West Kirby. In the “meteor” video, two beams of light can be seen shooting across the orange skies.

He told the ECHO: “We went for a walk up to West Kirby to watch the sunset and we saw the rays of light. We just stood there and watched, we saw a lot of things up there.

“It’s really cool. I’m fascinated by this, we just came across it while walking. I saw them both heading towards Liverpool.”

However, the strange rays of light aren’t the only strange happenings Thomas has spotted while walking through West Kirby. The 45-year-old shared a video with the ECHO capturing what he believes to be a UFO in the sky. In the video you can see a flashing orange light, which disappears and reappears several times.

He also went to the same location in West Kirby at night and captured more mysterious lights. He said: “The light was moving so fast it was hard to capture on my phone, it bounced around the sky quite a bit.”
