Sexually violent predator takes up residence in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – On Tuesday, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said a sexually violent predator entered Hugo.

The SVP, 45-year-old Rocky Harper, moved to 637 6th St. in Hugo, east of Limon

The sheriff’s office said Harper was convicted in 2005 of sexual assault of a seven-year-old victim and in 2002 of attempted sexual assault of a 14-year-old victim.

Harper was described as a white male, 6 feet tall and 172 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The sheriff’s office said he would be supervised using an ankle monitor and the Parole Division of the Colorado Department of Corrections.
