Healdsburg Winery Offers Julia Child-Inspired Five-Course Dinner

Dine as if it were 1969, when “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” was a bestseller and “The French Chef” was must-see TV at a dinner honoring Julia Child.

Jordan Vineyard & Winery in Healdsburg will celebrate the grande dame of gastronomy with a five-course dinner inspired by children’s masterpieces of French cuisine, from 6:15 to 9:30 p.m., November 15.

Served in Jordan’s newly renovated dining room, dinner will include turnip vichyssoise with caviar, quenelles de poisson and veal cheek Bourguignon with mushrooms and shaved truffle, all accompanied by a selection of Jordan wines.
