Man charged in connection with woman’s murder

JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) – A man accused of shooting and killing his wife appeared in court Wednesday after being indicted by a grand jury.

According to officials, Steven Kisor is accused of firing shots at Tara Kisor while riding a motorcycle along Four Mile Road.

The shots reportedly hit Tara Kisor and she then drove through two gates before crashing.

She was taken to hospital where she later died.

Preliminary reports indicate Tara Kisor died of a gunshot wound to the head, the sheriff’s office said.

The indictment includes the following charges: murder, assault, discharging a firearm in or near a restricted area, having weapons while under disability, and violating a protective order.

Officers, with the help of the Ohio State Highway Patrol Aviation team, were able to trap Kisor in a wooded area of ​​Four Mile Road several hours after the shooting.
