CPKC Railway continues KCS Railway’s holiday tradition of visiting its Holiday Express train, making a total of 13 stops along the CPKC network in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

26th Annual Holiday Express Train Arrives in Monroe

In Monroe, the Holiday Express will arrive on December 3rd around 3pm on North 3third St. and 301 Desiard St., with the train opening to visitors at 4 p.m.

The six-car train procession will spread holiday cheer with festive red and green Christmas displays. Additionally, Santa Claus and his elves will come out to cheer up visiting children and families.

The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Express train stopped at Pineville. The festive train is decorated with colorful lights and Christmas characters. The free event drew many people from the area who formed a line that stretched from the corner of Melrose Street, near Louisiana Christian University, to the bridge over Wadley Street.The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Holiday Express train stopped in Pineville. The holiday event is free, however, CPKC encourages participants to make a financial or food donation to help support those in need in the community during the holiday season. At each stop, local food banks will be present and accepting donations.
