PHS Student Faces Charges After School Incident

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – A high school student is facing charges following an incident that occurred at Parkersburg High School.

According to the release, on Oct. 8, the Parkersburg High School resource officer responded to a medical emergency at the school involving a student.

Another student, who was not experiencing the medical issue, was uncooperative during the medical situation and had to be restrained.

Charges have been filed against the student who was restrained, but no additional information can be released at this time due to the student being a minor and the case has not yet been adjudicated.
