Watch: Soto hits a grounder in a possible final at-bat as a Yankee

The New York Yankees fell short in their World Series comeback, falling 7-6 to the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 5.

“The Bronx Bombers” held a 5-0 lead at one point before multiple defensive errors in the fifth inning led to a tie score and ultimately a full lead later in the game.

One of those early runs was scored by club star outfielder Juan Soto traded in 2023 of the San Diego Padres.

Soto, who signed a one-year contract $31 million extension for the 2024 season, will become a free agent this season, so his last at-bat as a Yankee may have been a grounder in the bottom of the eighth.
