Woman miraculously survives when water tank falls on her after she makes a donation to local temple

A very lucky woman was surprisingly unharmed after a huge tank of water fell directly on her as she crossed a street and walked home after making a donation at her temple earlier this month.

The stunning incident occurred when the unidentified woman was walking down a narrow street on October 5 in the city of Dindoli – located in the northwestern region of India.

A security video that has since gone viral online shows a woman eating an apple while crossing a narrow, wet street when suddenly a huge can of gray water fell on her.

Seconds after the unexpected dive, his head pops out of the hole in the top of the plastic tank. Shockingly, he missed her body and when she popped her head out, she appeared not only conscious but also unharmed.

A neighbor ran to help her. The video shows them looking up to try and figure out where the container came from. Another man also ran to see if she was okay.

A security guard reportedly claimed that the tank was accidentally knocked over by a scrap collector who was cleaning items on its roof. It is unclear how the person managed to get the container to the terrace.

The woman’s luck might be a bit of good karma because the crazy incident happened when she was returning home after making a donation to a local temple.

The cement street was also covered in parked motorcycles that did not appear to have been damaged during the disturbance.

The video went viral on social media, with people saying it looked like it came straight out of a “Looney Toons” cartoon or the popular “Final Destination” thriller franchise.

“Buy a lottery ticket now, ma’am!” one TikTokker commented.

“This was a one in a million occurrence. Not only did it fall on her through the opening, but it also fell at such a perfect angle that it prevented the top of her head from being collapsed by the impact. Amazing,” wrote one Reddit user.

This is not the first time that a person in India has escaped death due to an unexpected collapse of a water tank.

In February 2018, a man in southern India managed to escape death when a water tank fell just a few centimeters. Crowds gathered near the old water tank to watch the demolition. While the excavator was removing plaster from the pillars, the tank collapsed onto the machine and missed the operator by just a few centimeters.

At the time, local residents claimed the entire demolition was poorly planned, while others speculated that the old structure was just weaker than crews expected.
