Authorities investigate after Hotel O catches fire

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Authorities are investigating after Hotel O caught fire.

The Jackson Fire Department and Jackson Police Department responded to the scene Friday morning, located in the 4600 block of I-55 North.

By 6:30 a.m., the fire had been put out at the closed hotel, but crews were still on scene.

Earlier this month, the city of Jackson received three qualified bids to demolish the dilapidated property.

It is not known at this time what caused the fire.
