The expansion follows Federal Bureau of Control agent Kiran Estevez as she explores a secret facility near Cauldron Lake, a setting from the base game. Remedy has made it clear that this expansion will be much more horror-centric than the first.

The teaser trailer hints at the return of Dylan Faden, brother of Control protagonist Jesse Faden, suggesting deeper connections between Remedy’s games. And with the studio interested in developing its Interconnected Universe, we’ll definitely see some connections.
