Motorcycle crash on I-64 in Chesapeake results in 1 death: VSP

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – One man was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-64 in Chesapeake after the driver drove off the eastbound on-ramp at a high rate of speed, Virginia State Police said.

According to police, the motorcycle’s driver, Joshua A. Brown, lost control of his motorcycle, caused the vehicle to fall to the ground and was then thrown.

Brown suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Portsmouth Naval Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
