NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – As Swifties around the world prepare for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in late October, New Orleans is rolling out the red carpet.

Here’s a guide to make the most of your visit, from themed brunches to unique shopping experiences!

Wednesday, October 23 Shake It Off: The Ultimate Swiftie Experience at the New Orleans Social House A three-day celebration featuring a chef-designed Taylor-themed menu, glitter bar and friendship bracelet station.
Wednesday, October 23rd, from 5pm to 10pm Taylor Swift’s Night at Greyhound Sip on signature Swiftie-inspired cocktails and dance to Taylor’s hits at The Greyhound in Covington. Chance to win a 3-foot trophy and enjoy shiny hair braids by Kismet.
Thursday, October 24th Taylor Swift burlesque brunch at Virgin Hotels New Orleans Enjoy DJ entertainment, photo opportunities, airbrush tattoos and a bracelet-making bar at the Commons Club.

Saturday, October 26th, from 5pm to 10pm Swifty Par-Tay Kids at Dip It Chocolates A kids’ event featuring candy decorating, karaoke, friendship bracelet making and dancing at Dip It Chocolates in Mandeville.
Sunday, October 27th, from 4pm to 9pm Taylor Swift Karaoke Join Abita Brewery for Taylor fun facts on Saturday and karaoke on Sunday, celebrating the tour with themed events nightly.

Go to the Audubon Zoo – 6500 Magazine St.; 10am to 5pm daily
The Audubon Zoo is home to rare wildlife such as white alligators and Louisiana animals. In honor of the Eras Tourthe zoo will host friendship bracelet making, photo shoots, and Swiftie-themed experiences for everyone.

Visit the Audubon Aquarium and Insectarium – 1 Canal Street; 10am to 5pm daily
Located at the base of Canal Street, the aquarium and insectarium offer a fantastic escape. Don’t miss Bug Appétit for snacks made with insects or the butterfly garden overlooking the Mississippi River.

Live like Taylor Swift at Preservation Hall and Esplanade Studios
On December 10, 2022, Swift attended a concert at Preservation Hall, the legendary French Quarter music venue. Known for traditional jazz, it has capacity for just 100 customers. On her birthday (December 13, 2022), Swift recorded at Esplanade Studios and posted that she “wouldn’t have it any other way.”
