WMH Foundation will hold “10 days of donation” fundraiser

The WMH Foundation announces its annual campaign and thanks all those in the AHN Westfield Hospital service area (and beyond) for their continued support year after year, as seen in this year’s Independence Day parade in Mayville. WESTFIELD — For the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Thanksgiving season starts earlier than usual this year.

As sponsors of the “10 Days of Giving to WMH” sweepstakes, the foundation board would like to thank its many donors across the hospital’s 14 service areas and surrounding communities. Numerous businesses and individual donors stepped up to donate more than $11,000 in gifts (up to $1,500).

Tickets can be purchased in the hospital lobby or by contacting Patty DiPalma, foundation executive director or foundation board member.

Every day for 10 consecutive days beginning Monday, November 18th, before Thanksgiving, a winner will be chosen to win one of the following prizes:

– November 18 Apple iPad 10.2″ with Smart Keyboard (compliments from Fredonia Walmart)

– November 19 Hilarious getaway at Chautauqua Harbor Hotel – $500 value including overnight stay for two, tickets to the National Comedy Center and Lucy/Desi Museum

– November 20th 2 pairs of designer sunglasses, courtesy of Dr. Steven and Carolyn Ihrig

– November 21st Bintelli Electric Bike – valued at $1,500 (compliments of Dave Warren Motors)

– November 22nd 55″ Samsung TV (compliments from West Herr)

– November 23 Frigidaire 30 c ft., upright freezer (match ACME appliance)

– November 24th Gift Card Surprise Package

– November 25th Grande Hotel Salvatore Package

Several daily ‘Runner Up’ drawings will also be held, and winners can expect to win gift certificates valued at a minimum of $50 courtesy of: Blasdell Pizza, Buttercream Babe, CJ’s Pizza, Full Strength Coffee, gas cards from Kwik Fill and Citgo, Jacks Barcelona Drive-In, Meeder’s Restaurant, Parkview Café, Tim Hortons, TOPS Friendly Markets, TW Biggins and Wegmans.

Other daily runner-up drawings will include: a set of uncovered coffee table books depicting Buffalo history provided by the Buffalo News, handcrafted pottery from Reno Pottery and a Master-Touch Charcoal 22″ grill provided by Add Lumber. Calarco’s Italian Restaurant, Quagliana’s Bark Grill and Westfield Nursery also donated gift cards, while the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel and Chautauqua Suites provided overnight stays for two. Gift baskets were donated by Peaceful Designs, Invention Room, Ralston Purina, Tractor Supply and Johnson Estate Winery (valued at $200). Finally, a priceless autographed #26 Rasmus Dahlin hockey stick was donated by the Buffalo Sabers.

Tickets cost R$20 each or three for R$50.
