Man seriously injured in Soulsville shooting; 1 arrested

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man is fighting for his life at Regional One Hospital after a shooting Thursday night in Soulsville.

Memphis police were dispatched to the 1200 block of College Street at 7:21 p.m. after someone reported a shooting.

Police searched the area, but could not find a victim.

They later learned that the victim showed up at the fire station a short distance away on East McLemore Avenue four minutes after the shooting call came in.

The man was rushed to hospital in critical condition.

Police say they have arrested one man.
