AIA boss Gianluca Rocchi: “The foul on Baldanzi in Monza-Roma? Maybe we made a mistake.”

The designating referee and head of the AIA, Gianluca Rocchi, criticized the performance of the Italian referees in the last round of Serie A.

In addition to comments on the Juventus-Cagliari episodes, Rocchi also mentioned the Monza-Roma incident that saw Tommaso Baldanzi go down in the Monza penalty area with a clear foul that was not called.

“Baldanzi? If the VAR considers it a foul, it must be awarded because it is a penalty,” said Rocchi. Sky Sport.
