One dead in early morning crash

Delhi Twp, Mich. (WILX) – A morning crash involving two cars has claimed the life of an Onondaga woman.

The Ingham County Sheriff’s Office says deputies received the call around 9 a.m. Friday morning near the intersection of Waverly Rd and Pleasant River Drive. The sheriff tells News 10 that an SUV traveling on Waverly Rd crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck head-on. A 42-year-old woman in the SUV was rushed to the hospital, where she later died. The 56-year-old man in the pickup was also taken to hospital with serious injuries. There is no word on his current condition.
