New case details

Twin Lakes police spoke with a 13-year-old boy and his parents on Oct. 10 – the day Crocker was formally charged. According to an amended criminal complaint, the victim said he told a school staff member that Crocker had sent him inappropriate messages, including multiple videos of herself performing a sex act.

The victim said he initially thought it was a “workout video” when he opened it, but did not respond, according to the complaint, saying he was “too young for that.” The victim also said he became scared because he heard Crocker “raping” another youth.

A search of Crocker’s cellphone turned up several videos of what appeared to be those the victim described, according to prosecutors. It also showed that Crocker added the victim on Snapchat in September and that they exchanged more than 200 messages, photos and videos within days.

Court records show that a search of Crocker’s Snapchat data also found a conversation between her and a 16-year-old boy, whom she added to the platform on October 9 – a day before she was to be taken into custody.

Reports indicated she asked the victim if he wanted to have sex with her. She tried to make plans for the boy to come to her house on October 11 to have sex; she would ultimately be taken into custody on that date. The victim told investigators that they had talked about sex, but never “went through with it.” He also said she sent him photos “in which sex was ‘inferred’.”
