Elko man dies in crash on I-80 near Wells

WELLS, Nev. (KOLO) -An Elko man died Oct. 19 in a crash on Interstate 80 about 30 miles east of Wells, Nevada State Police said Friday.

Troopers responded to the crash on October 19 around 6 p.m. The NSP said the Toyota Tundra was traveling westbound on Interstate 80 when the driver allowed it to leave the road and enter the median. Faulkner overcorrected to the right and the truck crossed the highway westbound, clockwise. The car then left the highway, drove onto the dirt shoulder on the north side of I-80 and rolled, NSP said.

Faulkner was pronounced dead at the scene.
