Michael Steele Flags ‘Most Disturbing’ Part of Trump’s Arnold Palmer Penis Talk

Michael Steele, former chairman of the Republican National Committee, said the reaction from Donald Trump supporters to the former president’s talk about late golfer Arnold Palmer’s penis was the “most disturbing” thing ever.

“I’m actually surprised that this is what our country is doing right now,” said Steele, co-host of MSNBC’s “The Weekend.”

Republican candidate Trump “wasn’t talking about the economy, he wasn’t talking about creating jobs for the next generation, he wasn’t talking about health care delivery or even dealing with the intractable issues in around the climate”, he observed.

Instead, Trump was “talking about a man’s genitalia.”

The “most disturbing” part, though, was the “people behind him who are laughing and laughing and thinking that this is a good political speech, that this is what the next president of the United States should spend his time talking about,” Steele continued.

“They weren’t offended, they had fun,” he added. “And that’s the problem with Donald Trump. It’s all about fun, it’s all about entertainment, it’s all about mocking and dumbing you down enough to be stupid enough to believe these narratives about other people, about our country, and about another man’s genitals.
