During the exclusive segment with Pinkvilla, he received a heartwarming message from his son Sikandar Kher as the latter congratulated him for his amazing role in Chaalbaaz.

Anupam Kher got emotional after sharing the message received from his son Sikandar. He responded to Sikandar’s question on how he played his role in Chaalbaaz, which released in 1989.

During the conversation with us, Anupam Kher received an audio message which we received from his son Sikandar Kher. The post began with Sikandar congratulating his father as he was about to complete 40 years in the industry.

He asked his father, “In Chaalbaaz, when you did that to your upper lip and you were going to do a whole movie like that and I saw the movie and it was so believable that this guy did that when you showed it at home, I was How can you achieve this. How do you take millions of people on their journey when you’ve made something for lack of a better word like over-the-top, it’s like you’re bringing authenticity to something that’s almost so amazing. find that conviction and how did you make it believable that you were going to do it with your face. ”

Praising Sikandar for telling him that he loved his role in Chaalbaaz, the veteran actor said that Sikandar remembered the film because at that time he was at an impressionable age.

“When I heard the story of Chaalbaaz, I wanted to play the role of the comic book villain. Director Pankaj Parashar was very open to doing things. I wondered what I could do different.
