ALEXANDRIA — Drew Berent carded a second-place score of 83 to help the Pillager Huskies win a first at a Quad County Conference meet Monday, May 6, at Alexandria Country Club.

Jackson Camacho placed third for Pillager shooting an 86 while Wyatt Glas finished in the top 10 with an 89.

Pequot Lakes 4th, Staples-Motley 5th in Bemidji

BEMIDJI — Jerome Martin and Michael Oseland both shot 79s to push the Pequot Lakes Patriots into fourth place at the Bemidji Invitational Monday, May 6, at the Bemidji Town and Country Club.

Logan Fogarty shot an 80 in 18th place, followed by Tollef Birkeland’s 81.

Grant Bestland led the Staples-Motley Cardinals to fifth place with his fourth-place 75. Carter White shot a 77 for seventh.

18th-ranked Isaiah Aulie’s 80 led the 11th-ranked Pine River-Backus Tigers.

ALBANY — Ryan Oothoudt shot an 80 in 10th place to lead the Little Falls Flyers to third place in a Granite Ridge Conference meet Monday, May 6, at the Albany Golf Club.

Oothoudt’s birdie round was followed by Luke Avery’s 81, Peyton Carr’s 85 and Cullen Moe’s 90 for the Flyers’ 336.

Huck Balmer placed 14th with an 84 to lead Pequot Lakes into fifth place.

Nathan Cekalla matched Balmer’s 84 to lead the Pierz Pioneers to seventh place.
