Jamal Murray caught in separate throwing incident

New footage shows Jamal Murray throwing multiple objects onto the court during the Denver Nuggets’ 106-80 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 on Monday.

Initially, only Murray threw a heat pack that attracted attention. But a new vision shows the struggling Nuggets star tossing in a towel just before tossing in the heat pack.

Timberwolves coach Chris Finch was highly critical of Murray after the game, calling his behavior “inexcusable and dangerous.”

It remains to be seen whether the NBA will impose any form of sanction.

Jamal Murray is now the second most famous Canadian in the last 24 hours to publicly throw in the towel after underperforming in the face of intense pressure.

Hampered by a calf injury and terrorized by Minnesota’s swarming defense, Murray finished Game 2 with eight points on 3-18 field goal shooting.

After the match, he left the arena without speaking to the media.

Having lost the first two games of the series at home, the Nuggets must win four of the next five games to save the series.
