FC Cincinnati announces schedule for first round of MLS Cup playoffs

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – FC Cincinnati will be the No. 3 seed in this year’s MLS Cup Playoffs – and will host No. 6 seed New York City FC in the first round.

The first round will be a best-of-three series.

The orange and blue will host Game 1 at 6:45pm on October 28th at TQL Stadium.

Game 2 will take place at a location to be determined on November 2nd.

Game 3 – if necessary – will be back at TQL Stadium at 4pm on November 9th. Location and time not yet defined.

If FC Cincinnati can beat New York City, they will advance to the Conference Semifinals.

These games will be single elimination on November 23rd and 24th.

FCC would face the Columbus Crew or New York Red Bulls in the second round.
