A toddler’s hilarious interaction with Amazon Alexa is giving TikTok users their daily dose of serotonin.

In a moment captured by a baby monitor camera, the 2-year-old son of teacher and TikToker Aly Femia tried to use Amazon Alexa in his bedroom to get his father’s attention. Instead, the smart speaker did something that left the toddler perplexed.

“Alexa, I need Daddy,” the boy told the speaker.

“So what should I add?” Alexa responded.

“Dad,” he repeated.

“I added ‘daddy’ to your shopping list,” the speaker then warns the boy. “Is there anything else you need?”

“Um, no,” he said in response.

Femia’s video about the Amazon Alexa failure, which received over 822,000 likes, left TikTokers in hysterics.

“I’ve watched this 20 times (and) it gets funnier every time,” one user said.

“If only it were that simple,” joked another.

“This video needs more appreciation,” wrote a third. “It’s too good.”
