The weather shortens the meeting on the Bulldogs track in Bayard

On Friday, the Alliance athletics teams traveled to Bayard to participate in the BCD competition. Eleven teams participated in the event.

Unfortunately, the day was ruined when lightning delayed events and the competition was ultimately canceled. Before the storm, Alliance got first place finishes from Kaiah Adams in the women’s unified events of 100 meters, long jump and shot put.

Bulldog senior Jonah Amill won the boy’s triple jump while the boy’s 2-mile relay took first place. Team Members: Trevor Zurn, Ben Cassatt Reina, Devin Graham and Asher Saka. Bryce Wade finished first in the boys’ long jump, shot put and 100-meter dash. No team scores were kept
