KNOB NOSTER, Mo. (KCTV) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a rear-end collision on a highway east of Knob Noster last weekend.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that on Friday, November 1, around 9:45 p.m., emergency services were called to the area of ​​US 50 and Route D, east of Knob Noster, for reports of a two-vehicle collision.

When first responders arrived, they said they found a 56-year-old Warrensburg man riding his 2025 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on the highway when he rear-ended a 2016 Ford Escape driven by a 77-year-old Sedalia man.

State Troopers where the motorcyclist was taken Research Hospital in Kansas City with life-threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
