Pokémon Go AR Snapshot updates are here, with more room for your ‘mons and burst mode

Pokémon Go’s AR photo mode gets an update with more space for your mons and a brand new burst function to let you take multiple photos. While AR photo mode has been a part of the game for a while now, as part of the recent wave of updates intended to rebuild the game from the ground up (Go is over half a decade old now), they would make changes. avatar customization, photo mode and much more.

To start, we’re offering an expansion to the number of Pokémon you can include in a given photo, up to three at a time, with suggestions for group photos to pair them together. Next, changes were made to where you can place your Pokémon, allowing some of them to take flight in frames rather than being bound to land. And finally, there’s the addition of some familiar camera features like burst mode for a multitude of photos and a timer, all in addition to new tools for customizing your snapshots after you’ve taken them.
