Why Tom Brady’s Kim Kardashian Roast Joke Shocked Even Nikki Glaser

Everyone loves a good Kardashian joke, including Nikki Glaser.

After attending Netflix’s Tom Brady Roast on Sunday, Glaser, 39, reacted to the brutal speech Brady, 46, made about Kim Kardashian directly to her face during the event.

“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight. Not because of that, but because her kids are home with their dad,” Brady said of Kardashian, 43, who has four children with her controversial ex, Kanye West.

Glaser appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Tuesday and revealed she was pleasantly surprised that Brady went after the famous reality TV star.

“One of the moments where I was like, ‘Oh, we can go!’ He made a joke about Kim Kardashian, who was there, which I thought was a little out of line, right?

” She’s there. She takes enough hits. She’s not on stage, but he later joked about it: “Are you more afraid of the jokes or the fact that your kids are with Kanye right now?” A good joke,” Glaser continued. “And I was like, ‘I didn’t even know we could actually go there.’ “

Glaser mercilessly roasted Brady during his turn in the Netflix special by mocking his divorce from Gisele Bundchen, and more.

“Tom Brady, five-time Super Bowl MVP, most career wins, most career touchdowns, you have seven rings — well, eight now that Gisele has given hers back,” Glaser said.

However, it was Brady’s joke about Kardashian that completely shook the audience, as well as viewers at home.

After the retired NFL star called out Kardashian’s ex-husband, the SKIMs founder shook her head and smiled awkwardly.

Meanwhile, the crowd gasped and then began to applaud.

Kardashian was also booed by the audience when she took the stage to roast Brady earlier in the night.

She looked both angry and uncomfortable as Kevin Hart tried to compose the crowd.

However, this segment has since been removed from the Netflix special.

The streaming service added a disclaimer that says: “edited from a previous livestream.” The boos and Hart’s brief response to the crowd were removed from the new version.

While roasting Brady after being booed, Kardashian addressed rumors that the two stars dated.

“I would never say that whether we did it or not, I would just put the tape out,” she joked.

Brady and Kardashian were linked in July 2023 after they both attended Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin’s white 4th of July party in the Hamptons.

At the time, Page Six reported that the media mogul and former quarterback “spoke only briefly” at the party and were just “friends.”
