Heard outside Michigan’s locker room: Finding motivation for the rest of the season

ANN ARBOR – Another game, another somber mood at Michigan’s postgame news conference following a 38-17 loss to No. 1 Oregon on Saturday.

The Wolverines came out of the gate slowly and had no answer to the Ducks’ high-powered offense in the first half, falling behind 28-10. They got within 11 points in the second half and had a few drives with a chance to make it a one-score game, but were unable to do so. Saturday was Michigan’s fourth loss of the season – one more than in the previous three seasons combined.
