Here’s How You Can Get “Wicked” Themed Cups, Merchandise, and Drinks at Starbucks

Starbucks is teaming up with Universal Pictures to celebrate the upcoming release of ‘Wicked’ with two new craft drinks inspired by the film’s two main characters, Elphaba and Glinda. Additionally, fans will be able to get their hands on Starbucks ‘Wicked’ Products “Inspired by the Land of Oz, Including the Emerald City, and Its Beloved Characters” including “a variety of cold cups, tumblers, keychains and more,” the coffee chain said.

“The wickedly giftable collection features shades of vibrant pink, bold green and bright gold and is available for a limited time, while supplies last,” Starbucks said in a press release. Merchandise and beverages will be available in the US, Canada and select international markets ahead of the release of ‘Wicked’ Part One on November 22nd.

New ‘Wicked’ Themed Drinks at Starbucks

The two new craft drinks inspired by Elphaba and Glinda will be flying into Starbucks stores starting October 22nd and will only be available for a limited time.

The “exciting” new creation ‘Elphaba’s Cold Brew’ introduces Starbucks Cold Brew, “a custom blend of long-cold, long-brewed grown beans, handcrafted in small batches daily for a super-smooth taste,” says the coffee chain. The drink “inspired by Elphaba’s bold energy and stunning green skin” is sweetened with peppermint-flavored syrup and topped with silky smooth, non-dairy matcha cold foam with Wizard of Oz dust in the form of colorful green sprinkles.

The “fantastic” new creation ‘Glinda’s Pink Potion’ features a Starbucks Refreshers Mango Dragonfruit drink that is hand-shaken with creamy coconut milk, ice and a scoop of real, freeze-dried dragonfruit. The drink is topped with silky, non-dairy strawberry cold foam and “finished with a dusting of Wizard of Oz,” which is candy-colored sprinkles.

At the same time, customers can start enjoying new drinks inspired by the iconic Oz duo, they can also purchase “an Emerald City Card perfect for any Ozian” at Starbucks stores.

Just over two weeks later On November 7, another Starbucks card that doubles as a key fob will be available nationwide. The gold card comes in a Grimmerie-inspired box and requires a minimum charge of $50.

Also on November 7th, ‘Wicked’ inspired products including a variety of cold cups, tumblers, keychains and mugs will be available in certain locations said the Seattle-based coffee purveyor in a press release.

Three ‘Wicked’ collections inspired by Elphaba, Glinda and the Emerald City will be available at Starbucks stores in the US, Canada and select international markets. Cold cups start at US$27.95 and those with a special straw inspired by the collection’s theme cost US$34.95. The latter can also be purchased as a keychain for $17.95. Cups can be purchased for $32.95.

A fourth collection combines “the essence of Glinda and Elphaba as an ode to their beautiful and unlikely friendship” that can only be purchased at Starbucks stores within target locations. The cold cup and Pink & Green Swirl keychain will cost $32.95 and $17.95, respectively. The checkered iced cup is $27.95 and the Wicked cup is $29.95.
