The Browns surprised the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8, winning 29-24 as a 7-point underdog as the Over (45) cashed. QB James Winston started for the injured QB Deshaun Watson (Achilles), and he ended up becoming the first Cleveland QB this season with over 300 yards passing.

The 29 points in Week 8 were by far the best offensive production of the season, as the Browns had 18 or fewer points in the previous 7 games.

The Chargers (-125) are a little more expensive than just playing the visitors and putting up the little bit of points. If you like the road team, look at the spread.

Against the spread

The CHARGERS -1.5 (-110) are much better game, unless you strongly believe LA will win, but only by one point.

The biggest news for the Browns +1.5 (-110) is that Owusu-Koramoah is sidelined and headed to injured reserve. He is the heart and soul of the defense and a tackling machine. Owusu-Koramoah makes his presence felt with plenty of solo tackles, quarterback hits and occasional passes defended.

Winston performed well against a good Ravens defense, but the Browns won’t have nearly enough room to operate against a suffocating Bolts D.

Top/Bottom

UNDER 42.5 (-110) is the skinny one, but play with half a unit at best.

The Under ruled the day for the Chargers, going 6-1 this season. They have allowed 17 or fewer points in each of the past four games and in six of the seven games so far.

Through the three games on the road, the Bolts have allowed just 12.0 PPG, while allowing 19.0 PPG in the previous two outings away from home.

Although the Browns broke out with 29 points in Week 8, this is an offense that has put up 18 or fewer points in each of its first seven weekends.
