Stamp Rally and free Ghibli documentary screenings

Stamp Rally and free Ghibli documentary screenings

Since its inauguration, The world of Studio Ghibli took Singapore by storm. And as if the two-story exhibit featuring 16 immersive theatrical sets inspired by 11 iconic Studio Ghibli films wasn’t enough for us all to sing its praises, the fun now extends to Marina Bay Sands with an Adventure Stamp Rally.

It’s exactly what it sounds like: ticket holders can now pick up a stamped rally passport at the end of the expo before heading to the mall to embark on a trail through Marina Bay Sands. Collect various Ghibli stamps located in mini-installations and interactive displays inspired by scenes from beloved films, such as Ponyo on the seaside cliff, Spirited Away, and My Neighbor Totoro.

And once you’ve collected all the stamps, your efforts will be greatly rewarded with special access to a Ghibli-themed photo booth at the ArtScience Museum, along with free entry to Digital Light Screen by teamLab.

In addition to the Adventure Stamp Rally, enjoy free screenings of two Ghibli documentaries. In the first documentary, go behind the scenes at Studio Ghibli to discover the genius of Kazuo Oga, the creator of Totoro’s enchanting forest and the films’ stunning background art. The second follows director Hayao Miyazaki during the creation of The wind increases and Takahata The Tale of Princess Kaguya.
