Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel not ready for ‘public assessment’

Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel not ready for ‘public assessment’

When Bayern Munich take the field against VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday, it will be Thomas Tuchel’s final home game with the club.

Ultimately, the coach will be judged on his success and during his tenure, where Tuchel has won just one of six trophies (seven if you count the DFL-Supercup). When asked how he would rate his move to Bayern Munich, Tuchel said the issue was not a subject of much public debate.

“I’m not a fan of public reviews. Many factors play a role in judging a season. Personally, I’m not happy with the disc. When you sign for Bayern, you sign to win titles. We haven’t achieved that this season. But we did our best. The Madrid fans felt it too,” Tuchel said.

As for what happens next, Tuchel doesn’t know… yet.

“I have no idea. I will think about things in peace. Things have been clear since February. I will take my time. There have been no discussions with other clubs,” Tuchel said.
