Man, 21, dies after being electrocuted while working in Fgura

A 21-year-old man has died after being shocked while working in Fgura.

The incident happened at 11:30 a.m. at Triq Mater Boni Consilli.

Initial reports revealed that the man, who lives in Wied il-Għajn, was electrocuted while carrying out work.

The man received medical treatment and was transported to Mater Dei by ambulance. Unfortunately, the man died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Magistrate Philip Galea Farrugia is leading an investigation while police and OHSA investigations are ongoing.
