FH Announces 2024 Schedule – University of Connecticut Athletics

STORRS, CT. – UConn field hockey team under head coach Paul Cady announced its 19-game schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Huskies will open with two exhibition games, hosting Fairfield and Vermont at home before the season begins.

The Huskies are looking for a rebound this fall with their sights set on returning to the BIG EAST Championship and the 2024 NCAA National Championship Tournament.

The Huskies have eight scheduled away games and 11 home games on campus at Nancy Stevens George J. Sherman Sports Complex grounds. They will kick off the 2024 slate at home against St. Joseph’s on August 30. The farthest they will travel will be to Norfolk, Virginia to take on the ODU Monarchs in a BIG EAST contest to end the regular season on November 1st.

UConn will face six teams in the 2023 NCAA Tournament this season, with home games against St. Joseph’s (Aug. 30), Liberty (October 25) and Syracuse (October 27) and road games at Rutgers (Sept. 8). Harvard (September 15) and ODU (November 1).

The 2024 home schedule begins August 30 against the Hawks. Nancy Stevens Field. UConn’s other home games this fall are UNH (September 1), Cornell (September 6), Temple (September 20), Yale (September 22), Villanova (October 4), Quinnipiac (October 11), and UMass ( October 20).

The Huskies hit the road for matchups with Brown (Sept. 12), Georgetown (Sept. 28), Delaware (Sept. 29), Albany (Oct. 6) and Providence (Oct. 18).
