One person was killed in an ATV accident on Busco Beach last night

BUSCO BEACH, N.C. (WITN) – One person was killed in an ATV accident at Busco Beach and ATV Park last night, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

According to officials, Wayne County 911 received a call about an ATV accident around midnight. Officials say it was a rollover accident that left one person dead.

Officials say Mar Mac Fire, Wayne County EMS, Sheriff and Highway Patrol all responded.

Busco Beach has seen several fatal accidents over the years, including ATVs and drownings.
