Lego thieves caught in Mount Juliet, a growing trend in the states

MOUNT JULIET, Tenn. (WZTV) – The Mount Juliet Police Department (MJPD) responded to a robbery Sunday at a local Walmart where three Dickson County suspects are accused of stealing several Lego sets.

All suspects managed to flee the scene and one of them allegedly tried to attack a Walmart employee on the way out.

MJPD was able to capture the suspects using spike strips during the chase and caught a man who tried to flee the car. This same suspect has two outstanding warrants in Dickson County and Mississippi.

The two female and male suspects were arrested.

Thefts against popular Lego sets are becoming a trend in the United States. Retail crime experts told CNN that these sets are easy to resell and difficult to track, causing their popularity among thieves.
