Man wanted for questioning in connection with alleged groping of girl on Staten Island bus

STATEN ISLAND, NY – The NYPD is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for questioning in connection with an alleged forcible touching incident that occurred aboard a Staten Island bus.

It was reported to police that on Oct. 7 at approximately 8:15 a.m., a 15-year-old girl was sitting aboard an S76 MTA bus when an unidentified individual grabbed and squeezed her breast twice, according to a written statement from the NYPD chief. Public Information Commissioner.

The man then fled on foot, heading east on New Dorp Lane, according to the police statement.

Police say no injuries were reported as a result.

The NYPD provided surveillance image of an individual wanted for questioning in connection with the incident.

The individual wanted by the NYPD is described as a man with medium skin, who wears glasses and has black hair. He was seen wearing a black vest, black t-shirt, gray pants, blue sneakers and a black backpack.
