Corvettes for sale: 844-mile 2002 Corvette offered for sale on Facebook

If you missed the opportunity to buy a brand new 2002 Corvette back in the day, here’s the next best thing.

On the Facebook group “Low Miles No Miles,” this 2002 Corvette Electron Blue coupe is for sale by one of the members, who is asking $40,000 for his one-owner C5 that has only driven 844 miles.

He claims the car has been stored in a climate-controlled garage since new, adding that the car was driven the week it was purchased new and has been properly stored since with regular starts and fuel treatment.

“The car is as it left the showroom,” the original owner says in the ad. “Never washed, 22 years of dust.”

He claims the tires have no cracks or dry rot, and he even drove them for 20 miles before putting them up for sale.

Besides its very low mileage, this Corvette also stands out for another reason. It is said to be one of only three Electron Blue cars built in 2002 with an all-Torch Red interior.

The car had an original MSRP of $47,425 and is equipped with the Corvette Coupe Preferred Group 2 equipment package which costs $2,700 and includes dual-zone climate control, fog lights, a cargo shield and a parcel net, a memory package, an adjustable sports bucket seat, an electric passenger seat. , twilight sentinel, electrochromic mirrors, head-up display and electric telescopic and manually tiltable steering column.

Other options include polished aluminum wheels at $1,200, dual removable roof panels at $1,200 (the clear roof is still in the factory plastic), remote 12-disc compact changer at $600 and body side moldings at $75.
