21-year-old man arrested for murder of missing Atascadero man

ATASCADERO. California (FOX 26) — A 21-year-old Paso Robles man has been arrested for the murder of an Atascadero man who had been missing for nearly two weeks, Atascadero police say.

According to APD, 34-year-old Todd Joseph Pinion was last seen in Atascadero on October 22, but was active on social media the next day.

Police say Pinion’s dog was found dead on the side of Highway 101 on Thursday.

Police announced the arrest on Sunday.

Police have not released any further information about the suspected killer.

They also have not released how Pinion was killed.
