NYPD: 36-year-old man blew up stop sign on Staten Island and was found with fentanyl, Taser and Billy Club

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 36-year-old man was arrested with fentanyl, a baton and a Taser during a traffic stop in his home community of Rosebank, authorities say.

Officers saw Kevin Fonseca of Colton Street driving a gray 2019 Honda Odyssey that ran a stop sign on April 23 around 8:25 p.m. at Kay Place and Hylan Boulevard, according to the criminal complaint.

The driver was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
