Black Ops 6′ Announces Charity Package Approved by UK Special Forces

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 confirmed that a UK Special Forces-approved operator skin will be available to purchase as part of The Endeavour: Tracer Pack when the game launches later this week.

A collaboration with outdoor clothing brand ThruDark, created by former Special Forces soldiers Louis Tinsley and Anthony ‘Staz’ Stazicker, The Endeavour: Tracer Pack includes the first British pack Call to action The donation operator skin, the SC1, along with a weapon charm with insignia and the “feeling frog” weapon sticker. It also features the Ghostly Guile and Seaworthy Strength animated weapon blueprint.

“It was a real honor and, honestly, a little humbling to work on a game as big as Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6,” Staz said. NME recently. The pair worked with the game to make the pack as realistic as possible, from the scratchy wool sweater that Special Forces operators wear during selection to the black jungle boots that have become synonymous with the military organization. “There are also little easter eggs, like just above the magazine box is our saying ‘Love many, trust few and always paddle your own canoe’.”

“The players are hardcore and we knew Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 I wanted a level of authenticity and credibility, so a lot of thought, effort and energy went into this collaboration,” he added. “It’s not a Nicki Minaj skin.”

100 percent of package profits will go to the Endowment Fund. Created in 2009, the Call to action charitable organization has helped more than 130,000 military veterans find meaningful employment after leaving the service. More than 4,000 of them were from the UK.

ThruDark also launched a line of Call to actioninspired products. The proceeds go to the Call to action The donation fund and all items in the line also come with The Endeavor: Tracer Pack.

“Leaving the military and finding a new purpose is a very difficult space to manage,” Tinsley explained. “There’s a lot of camaraderie in being in the military, and when you step away from that, you kind of lose your own sense of identity. Helping veterans find meaningful employment is so important to help them transition to a normal life.”

The sense of community Call to action inspire is another way to help veterans, Staz says. “It’s a good way to talk to people who maybe wouldn’t normally contact someone via text or phone.”

According to Tinsley, the developers do a “very good job” of creating Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 as realistic as possible, especially with the new Omnimovement system. “It’s very dramatized in some cases, but the speed and aggression required to be a Special Forces operator comes through. It’s really impressive.”

“The things you need to be good at Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 are the same things you need to be good at to do the jobs we did,” added the former Special Forces soldier and SAS: Who dares wins host Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox. “Ignoring the physical part, because I know most people play sitting down, but movement, awareness, communication and the ability to work as a team are the key things we needed to employ to survive on the field. ”

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 is due for release on October 25th for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

In other news, the final Alan Wake 2 The DLC launched today (October 23), with fans celebrating the “bittersweet” release of The Lake House and praising its stance towards the artist.
