According to the Yeongju Police Station in Gyeongsangbuk-do, around 10:30 PM on the 2nd, a 53-year-old Yeongju City Hall official was found dead in a car parked on a road in Munsu-myeon.

Mr A left a farewell note on his mobile phone in the form of a text message to him.

The message on A’s mobile phone said: ‘The employees say they are having a hard time because of me. The cold looks, words and actions of the employees are so hard to mock,” he said. “I’m so scared and scared to go to the office. I’m someone who doesn’t need it in the organization, so I choose to stop taking a break forever,” it reads.

In response, the survivor claimed: “In addition to the bullying, I found it difficult to hear insulting words from my boss during the office or training period.”

Because the relatives of the deceased civil servants claim that there is ‘collective intimidation’, the civil servants’ union plans to organize a countermeasure.

The Yeongju City Hall Civil Servants’ Union said it plans to set up an emergency steering committee to monitor whether there is abuse of power and intimidation in the workplace.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the death through investigation into A and forensic research on mobile phones.
